Elite Psychology, Forged in High-Stakes Environments

( 01 ) Our Foundation

At True North Performance Psychology, we apply the science of psychology and operational experience into a discreet, precision-focused model of consultation and performance support.

Our approach translates the rigor, operational mindset, and evidence-based methodologies used within elite military environments into services tailored for aviators, executives, physicians, attorneys, and other high-performing professionals operating under sustained pressure.

Whether navigating burnout, leadership complexity, hiring complexities, or FAA-sensitive psychological concerns, we work with individuals whose environments demand clarity, resilience, sound judgment, and discretion. Our role is to provide the calibration necessary to sustain performance, preserve decision-making capacity, and maintain alignment under pressure.

This is clinical expertise refined for professional endurance, operational readiness, and long-term performance sustainability.

The True North Philosophy: Precision of Internal Calibration

True North is a metaphor for internal calibration—the uncompromising clarity of direction, alignment of values, and psychological precision required to operate under intense pressure. Performance at the highest levels is not limited by capability. It is limited by misalignment, internal friction, and the cumulative weight of sustained pressure. At True North, we operate from a single premise: clarity and precision - not intensity - drives elite performance.

Stay the Course. Trust the Process. The View is Worth It.

The Authority Behind the Process

Rooted in operational psychology with a background embedded in special operations units as an active duty psychologist, our founder bridges the gap between clinical precision and executive performance.

Felicia Pryor, PhD is a licensed clinical and aviation psychologist specializing in human performance, resilience, and team dynamics in high-pressure environments. With extensive experience working alongside aviation professionals and high-performing teams, she brings a unique perspective on how individuals and organizations operate when precision, trust, and clear decision-making matter most.

Drawing on principles from performance psychology and organizational behavior, Dr. Pryor helps leaders and teams strengthen communication, address burnout, and sustain peak performance under demanding conditions. Her work with high performing professionals has given her deep insight into the psychology of leadership and teamwork—expertise she translates effectively to corporate and executive settings.

Dr. Pryor looks forward to partnering with you and your organizations to develop leaders, optimize team effectiveness, and build cultures that support both performance and well-being.
